political article - death penalty

In an article posted by Usnews written by Kimberlee Kruesi, the topic of capitol punishment came up in correlation with abortions. She writes and responds to a man running for governor's thoughts about giving the death penalty to women and doctors who acquire abortions. He uses the phrase " anyone who has an abortion should pay." He continues with his stance and agrees with another, that women should get the death penalty for . In another article posted by Refinery 29 , he noted that a women would not face the death penalty but just the threat alone would dramatically reduce the abortion rates. While he sounds pro-life, the figures who represent pro-life tried to distance themselves and explain that his view opposes everything the Pro-Life movement believes in. While this would make no change, the treat would be economically illogical. This would raise the taxes we pay because it would raise welfare rates. research

My topic is on twentieth-century feminism and, my research is going well because I like my topic a lot. Many people don’t care about their topic or are already over it. I chose this topic after a long struggle on what to decide what it would be on. I’ve already learned about a bunch of awe-inspiring women who have influenced early feminism. I love learning about this because its empowering to know how previous women have changed the world. My research is challenging to find sources that aren’t all from America. Though when I discover something, it almost always turns out to be stunning and something I’ve never heard of before. This research project is a lot of work but, it’s a lot of fun to learn about. When writing the paper, I think it will be hard not to put in too resources and stay on topic.

yearbook

I tell myself that I do not like yearbook. Though when I find myself running around with a camera in my hand trying to capture people's smiles, I remember why I signed up for the class. Granted, I do not like missing practices or always being busy, but when i take a really good picture or see my picture in a yearbook spread I get the best feeling. This feeling of great reward is worth all of the looks I get and being the odd one out. Yearbook is also pretty hard. The class is really laid back all year but as the end comes we get more and more stressed out. The yearbook crew works over all breaks and the grind actually starts in the summer. That is when the editors, Ms. Madden, and all the people willing to, work their hardest to make the yearbook aesthetic and easy on the eyes.
